Notes
The Turahskal Peaks are called "The Ever-Rising Teeth" in the elves’ tongue. The name comes from their belief that the mountains are still growing, slowly pushing toward the heavens.
No one has ever crossed them. Every attempt has ended in vanishing parties, shattered bodies, or storms swallowing entire expeditions.
The winds in the highest peaks are said to sing, whisper, or scream—some say these are the voices of lost souls, while others claim it is the mountains speaking to themselves.
The peaks are so high that even the stars seem closer. Some elders say the gods themselves walked these ridges once, leaving hidden sanctuaries behind.
Some cliffsides bear ancient carvings, so weathered that no elf alive remembers who made them.
